Together with the Belgium Embassy, Locolat had the unique opportunity to represent our native country, “Belgium”.
Machteld Fostier, Minister Counselor Deputy Chief of Mission of the Belgium Embassy , talked about the influence of business and tourism of Belgium. Master Chef of Belgium, Geert Piferoen and Executive Pastry Chef, Niel Piferoen, owners of Locolat, presented the Belgium exclusive cuisine.

Annual Brunch, VIW: Vlamingen in Washington, DC June 3, 2007

It was another successful event, this year hosted by Locolat. Our Master Chef of Belgium, Geert Piferoen, prepared the food. Our Locolat Executive pastry chef, Niel Piferoen, prepared traditional Belgium pastries, such as Carre confiture, Almond cake ( frangipane), chocolate meringue, fresh fruit tarts, and the Locolat signature truffles.
